If iBooks are going to continue to be good for the education market AND 
serve as a moderately priced laptop for those unable to buy the 
PowerBook, it should go G4 sooner than later. Why? Software.
I know a lot of folks don't currently make use of Altivec features, but 
college students and an increasing number of consumers will.
Maybe it will take a G5 for Apple to feel it can differentiate its 
PowerBook line from the iBook line but that should end soon I hope.

still in G3-Land and running PhotoShop 7.
PS Maybe my ship will come in and I'll be able to get a G5(or the 
equivalent) PowerBook with that patented color-changing case :)
