Well I have the same issue with my Linksys router, it's a DHCP lease 
expiration thing, but that's not what's happening here. I've never seen 
a machine lose its hardware ethernet address - that's the MAC address, 
burned on the ethernet interface. I have other computers around here, 
connected directly to the router, and they are fine; the net connection 
didn't go down, the router is fine. it's just that this other computer, 
on the same hub as the Wallstreet, went out as well.
