I usually have Entourage and one or two web browsers going such as Safari, Explorer, or Navigator. I know that well behaved applications should not cause the machine to wake up which is why I am still inclined to suspect I have a problematic power manager. I just need to take the time to isolate the problem by dropping back to OS 9 and seeing if I can get it to sleep there, if it does, it can't be a power manager problem, it will have to relate to OS X.
