I for one, feel that it is sad that the miracle of spaceflight has become so disregarded that it requires an event of this magnitude and consequence to gain the nation's attention.
My thoughts and prayers go to the surviving family members and friends of the seven who lost their lives this morning. I also hope that in this time when other nations are beginning their own manned space programs, that we do not abandon our own. The seven who were lost today wouldn't want that, the seven who were lost in 1985 wouldn't have wanted that, nor the three men lost in 1967. We are, what we do, when it counts. Erick L.
