I was pointed to this list for possible help. Anyone out there know of any place on the web I can go to download or look at a tear down procedure for white iBooks (Icebooks?) 12" screens. I'm very proficient at repairing systems but Apple holds their tear-down methods close to the vest. With California's wonderful budget crunch I can't spend the money to take Apples repair course to become an internal repair facility. All of the iBooks are no longer under warranty and I want to try my hand at fixing them without spending the 45 - 70 bucks and driving the 50 miles to a repair facility just to have them tell me what's wrong with it. I can figure that out on my own!
