Another reason to prefer Waterfield or similar design-style carrier--going through airport security, the bag is distinctly different in appearence (either with color or the buckle) from most other laptop bags. Impossible to confuse it with someone else's laptop case, which was a constant problem for me before (either someone else picking up my bag or me grabbing the wrong bag).
