I guess you're right, but I never saw it before. I suppose because I 
haven't had to force quit anything until tonight right after the 2.4 
update. It was weird. All of the sudden no apps would open, no prefs 
would open- just endless spinning cursors. I had to force quit whatever 
I tried to open an that took two times. The first time, the non- 
responding app wouldn't quit with force quit, then, the second time I 
tried, it would be in red, and finally quit.

Just an observation because after the measures I took, everything is 
peachy, now. Just scared the sh*t out of me and thought I'd share the 
heads- up in case anyone has anything similar. I would  have to guess 
it's related to the 3rd party stuff I have on my machine.

That hopefully will teach me to not fix something that ain't broke;)
