hi, funny, the modem in my pismo under X.2.4 doesn't work with the modem script i was expecting (see for example Article ID: 58595), but rather with the apple/gv56k ... what i mean is, is that the modem won't even initialise until i choose the latter script, so this behaviour is entirely independent of location.
