Howdy... here's a step by step (with pictures) instruction on how to do this yourself. Don't know about the different screens that will work in a Pismo, but this article talks about the OEM screen he bought from eBay (with model#) to replace his broken screen. This is an incredibly useful resource if you are going to take this on.
