I've recently bought a new 800mhz 12.1" Ibook and have been thrilled with it, save for the fact that I can't get my palm to hotsync to it. I'm using Palm Desktop v.4 with a Palm IIIc, a Belkin serial-to-USB adapter, and OS 10.2.3. The system profiler seems to know that there is a device on the USB bus but the Palm won't hotsync.
I have tried adjusting the connection settings via Palm Desktop/Hotsync settings and also on the IIIc. No dice. Is this combination of hardware incompatible? Do I need some other facet of OSX, such as Isync, to make this work? Is this a known (to everyone but me) problem with OSX and older serial cradle Palms? Thanks in advance for any assistance. I'm in digest mode so forgive if my responses are delayed. Have the best Monday possible everyone, Kent [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
