> What kind of Powerbook do you have? Pismo G4/500 (40GB GNX), and I think the cables are crossover, as I bought them to connect computers to the switch. The cable that came with the modem did not work, and I suspect that is a direct connection cable, as it is meant to connect the modem to 1 computer. Is there an easy way of telling which kind of cable is which?
Also, I'm just trying to get the cable modem to connect to the WAN port of the Base Station. Thanks, Stephen PS I checked out your hosting site. Did you know you are more expensive than say, Interland, and offer less mailboxes? And have you heard of bad experiences with Time-Warner?
