Thanks, I did so, and now do have a Google search box on the home page, but
it doesn't occur when clicking on the vertical bar separating the Web menu
frame from the home page. Nevertheless, it works.

For another reason, unbeknownst to me, I lost Entourage (it was directly
accessed by an Outlook Express alias icon) on the desktop when dumping the
old IE and replacing it with the new. I accessed Entourage through Office
2001 and created an alias for the desktop, and this works just as well.

So, all's well that begins well. Thank you for the time and advice. Tivo
