My Lombard is currently out on loan so I can't check how mine handles, but I'm pretty sure it was 10.2.4 that performance was supposed to pick up in. There was a little hack you could do to improve video in earlier releases (back as far as 10.1.5 or so), but as of 10.2.4 it's all supposedly on by default. This is from memory, so apologies if I end up misleading you, but I'm pretty confident that this is the case.
