Yep, I've had this for about a year on a nearly 3-year old Pismo 400. The
pink tints the whole screen for maybe 2 seconds when waking up, and there
are pink regions coming from the bottom right and left after wake up and
on start up (even if it's just a restart and the screen hasn't had any
downtime). Those last no more than a minute.

I haven't noticed this getting any worse, although it must be getting
slowly worse -- after all, it wasn't there, and then it appeared over
time. I haven't heard any reports anywhere of a LCD actually 'dying' after
having pinkeye for a while, which I suppose it a good sign.

Has anyone managed to replace their LCD or backlight out of warranty --
either through Apple, or manually?

Dave
