the names of the files and the actual "tags" (the info you actually see in iTunes) are independent beings. iTunes and the iPod both look at the ID3 tags on the MP3 files and not their file names. when you sync, everything is retained... playlists and track names. -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
