Ha ha.  Just another in a long line of examples of people having problems
with sleeping a computer.

I don't mean the "ha ha" at you in a malicious way.  Just a general "ha ha"
at the universe kind of an expression.

I have the solution for your problem too.  Shut your PowerBook off when it
is not in use and turn it on when you want to use it.  I have been doing
this since my first PowerBook (a 190) and I have never had any problems.  I
only leave mine to sleep if I am running out of the office for an hour or 2,
or if I am on my way to the airport...that way it comes on quicker when I
have to go through security.
