Lots of upgraded Pismo's don't report the speed correctly anyway. For instance my PowerLogix BlueChip 900MHz G3 upgraded Pismo reports itself as a G3 550MHz in the "About this Mac..." box, and I bet Apple will use the same CPU detection routine thats used there. There will be a hack out for this if this is the case.
