the option to one-way might be dimmed due to my cpu, i'm using a pismo
with the g4 500mhz upgrade.
You can do one-way video if only one iChat AV user has a webcam. I know.
I did it.
That said, if you have any type of firewall or your buddy does, you need
to open the right ports for the audio and video signals to get through.
We posted an article about it on Low End Mac yesteray:
the need for port mapping through a firewall is not universal. some routers will need this, but since the audio and video streams are UDP traffic, many firewalls will let the traffic through.
if both people are behind firewalls, though... then portmapping is definitely needed.
