I suspect this is the major problem; attaing a good seal under these conditions.


It would probably be best to make a mold of the CRT tube, then heat a sheet of plexiglas and mold it into the shape of the tube.

That way you have the curved front, and a flat side to make a stable connection with. This will put a small amount of your tank behind the case, but that shouldn't be much of a problem.
