Hi all,
I've noted some comparisons in this list previously about hard drives in
the 40 GB size range (and how performance compares, depending on the
drive cache, etc.). Recently I found these two drives which seem almost
like they might be very similar. Anyone had experience with (or closely
looked at the specs somewhere on) either or both of these?:
Toshiba MK6021GAS 2.5" 60GB 9.5mm FDB Notebook HDD
Toshiba 2.5" 60GB Fluid Bearing 5400rpm HD 6/06/03
I'm hoping to find the best deal I can for a 60 GB size drive to go in my
PowerBook 2000 (Pismo), and leave myself enough room for growth (and
virtual memory) when I switch to MacOS X (yeah, yeah, I'm not a bleeding
edge, early adopter ;-)
TIA for any info you can pass along,
Jim Rohde
