The only issue is that as soon as I upgraded, my dialup went out the window.. Not the software, but I can't get it to dial the modem at all. It gives an error message every time I try to dial up.
Anyone else experienced this? I"ve spent a good bit of time researching it but to no avail, and I can't seem to get it to ever even dial.
What, perchance, is the error message? I know the dial up ones are stunningly uninformative but also check in the console log, there's often a wealth of useful data in there.
That said, modems are the one thing I've NOT had any problems with at all. Does the modem show up in System profiler?
Do you have the networking set up to allow the modem as a network port?
