How true!!! I bought my Pismo when it was 4 mos old and waited till the 11th month to get the A/C from Apple...was about $370 or so...Anyway....Ihave had the Pismo 2 years this past week...A/C replaced a bad Mat DVD Drive w/ an LG...Got a new power supply and had to have a new mobo also...so the A/C was definitely worth it!!!Have had A/c sinc '96 on my Performa 5200 till they wouldn't renew it and also on this imac se 400 since '99 and the Pismo since "01. Always got the A/C directly from Apple...Didn't know that I could have saved some big $$$ by looking around to get it.
