Subject: Proxim Harmony WiFI PC cards -> no joy so far Date: Thu, 28 Aug 2003 20:29:34 -0400 From: Dan K <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
I've not been able to get Proxim Harmony cards to work with 10.2.x (in a
Lombard) and the opensource driver. So much for my $15/each 'bargain'
WiFI cards. Oh pooh! :-\
Anybody know if the Harmony PC cards use the Hermes or Prism chipset?
I've not been able to pin that little detail down. One thing for sure is
they'll only fit cardbus cages, though I've no idea if they're really
cardbus wired or not.

I tried too, with no luck in my Ti 500 (can't get more than 20 feet with Airport). The opensource driver says the card should be supported, and reading through the mailing list archive shows that people have modified the ktext to get them working.
