this happens allot on wallstreets....it usually occures from the 
battery coming out while the powerbook is asleep in os nine but can 
occur other ways....
the fix is simple....

boot the computer into os nine,
put the computer to sleep,
wake it up,
boot back into 10
;) thats it!
after that the problem should go away (it did for me)
