You can install OS 9 from the restore CD's.
Is this true for any Classic bootable Mac ?
I know this is not a G-Mac list, but it's the subject, not the Mac that's being discussed, but I bought a second hand MDD 2x1GHz and I only got the OS X.2 install CDs and 4x Restore CDs.
Can one install specific items from the restore CDs ?
And would the Classic (Mac OS 9) be installable on it's own from here ?
The only OS 9 CDs I have won't boot my Mac and trying to install them from the CD won't work as I need Classic installed to launch the installer... Aaaarghh!!
