I have just had a D-Link switch installed in my room (to service the
HP LJ2500L I spoke about, yes still a problem).

When I run my Pismo through the switch, cookies are not enabled
hence very few web sites work. When I bypass the switch everything
works fine.

I know it's not the Pismo/System software as I had the same problem
with a TiBook when I visited (or at least I presume it was as the
symptoms were the same even though didn't see a switch there).

Basically, is there a known issue with a switch and cookie problems
on Macs ?

D-Link says that they have no incompatibility issues with the switch
and Macs...

I'm still running Classic.

I am stunned by the amount of problems I am having with my new
job, all because I want to remain using a Mac...
