What model dlink switch is this?
DES-1005D ---
If anything, I'd suspect that the switch is bad and corrupting packets possibly.
Just strange that I am now experiencing the same phenomena, and it is only at these two occurances I have done so, but with a completely different Mac and socket. The switch is new. ---
When you hook the Pismo to the RJ 45 jack instead of the switch, are you using the exact same port that the switch is connected to when you do this, or another empty port in the wall jack?
The same one and only jag in the wall in my room...
I will be bringing a few shorter Ethernet cables to work tomorrow so that I can swap around and test, but otherwise I can only see the switch as the cause of the trouble...
Anyone else had these problems ???
Laurence
