Does anyone else out there have a Sprint PCS Vision phone that they are using as a portable modem for their laptop? I have a Sanyo 5300 and my new Albook 17" sees the phone and allows me to select it as a modem, but it won't connect. I *know* that it will work with this phone, because I have seen it done. Help if you can.
I suppose you already know this but one thing to try is to dial the number manually just to make sure you get a carrier.
Does the phone show a connection. Also try using a terminal emulator to dial as a test.
