Folks,
I've just switched to using Netscape as my primary browser and am frustrated by its habit of opening a new window everytime you use a bookmark. Anybody know how to turn this "feature" off?

This is weird, I didn't know you could set it to do that...it would be in Edit-> Preferences somewhere if it is, but it's certainly not present in Mozilla. I would try tossing the prefs file and see if that doesn't fix it...it's not supposed to do that, I think,

I'll check out Safari when I get Panther and maybe Mozilla as well before making up my mind. But I do know that IE has to go!

Mozilla = Netscape - Ads ;-)

OSX poses a problem for me. I really love Mail.app as a mail program, but I really, *really*, *REALLY* like being able to do ctrl/command-N and pop a new browser window up when I'm reading or composing and e-mail, which I get from Mozilla.

In Mail I have to move the mouse and click on the browser or cmd-tab through the apps to get to the browser.

One thing that's mildly annoying about safari is that the search window is separate from the URL window. Again, it's just habit enforced by Mozilla, where the url box is the search box. I keep typing stuff in the wrong box.

But since I spend roughly 4-8 hours a day using Mozilla either as a browser or a mail application, I'm kind of habituated to it...
