However, there are a number of FireWire *and* USB 2.0 units available, and I wonder if it is possible to use one of these USB 2.0 drives with a USB 1.1 Mac (pre FW), obviously at reduced speed.
Will the Mac, e.g. a Lombard see the drive ?
