Forgive me if this isn't useful, but could you return the memory? I 
have been running OSX on my Lombard with 512mb of ram that I got from 
Transintl over a year ago. To date, I have had zero problems with it. I 
would naively assume that it's not an issue of after market ram, but 
maybe bad/mismatched ram? HTH
