I think the filesharing in Panther is worse, too - I can't see my old
PowerBooks that run 7.6.1 anymore. They can see the OSX machine, but
can't connect thru Appletalk or IP settings. I get a password incorrect
error message every time.



Then, your machine is not configured properly. Maybe AppleTalk is turned
off? I never mentioned to look in the 'Servers' directory, I mentioned
'Local'. If 'Local' is not there, then check your AppleTalk settings in
Network.



I have the same problem..........incorrect password. And my admin password don't work.
And Appletalk is on
