There was no noticeable loss of signal strength. No, I never ran the Test CD. I take my powerbook with me almost everywhere. Even thought it's in a padded case, it gets bounced around a bit. I guess the card just works itself loose. I didn't figure this out on my own but rather read about it on this list or one of the others I'm on.
