A few years ago I bought a couple hundred plugs because they were so nicely priced - at the time it wasn't uncommon to pay $1.50 each in large quantities and these were under $1. I soon discovered that they were about 1mm smaller than the other plugs I'd been using. It wasn't much but with some computers it was enough to keep a reliable connection from occurring. Since then I've seen the same kind of thing on pre-made patch cords as well as plugs from other manufacturers. david -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
