I'm new to the G-Books list and have a couple questions about a pismo I've recently acquired which has a problem or two.
First, the book won't power up without the power adapter being used the battery control strip shows the battery
being charged but then shows the battery with a red X over it (menu bar) and the control strip shows the expansion bay as empty.
I'm assuming a bad battery. Any thoughts different to this?
Second, The CD/DVD drive only reads DVD's no CD's are read, the drive spins up but no icon on the desktop.
I've reloaded the latest extension for OS 9.1 with the same result.
Any help would be appreciated.
