Also, what would happen if I took the 292MHz CPU out of my Wallstreet I and put it in my 233MHz Wallstreet II? I've heard that they are supposed to be incompatible... Can anyone explain to me exactly _why_ they are incompatible?

Different bus speeds on the two motherboards. Might not explain why, but that's the difference in speed ratings.
