Next day I went to the site to track the order, to make sure it had shipped so I'd know I'd have to stay home to receive it (signature required). No tracking info. So I called. No, the order hadn't shipped, as the 512MB cards were out of stock and back-ordered. (Why would a "clearance" item be reordered once sold out? And why didn't the Web site inform me that it wasn't in stock? The order process gave me every reason to believe it would ship immediately. Why no notification via email that the order hadn't shipped?) But they had them now, so the order would ship Tuesday. Okay.
So I went to the site again this morning (Wednesday) to check, etc. Still no tracking info. So I called. No, the order hadn't shipped, as the 512MB cards were still back-ordered, hadn't arrived. So I cancelled the order, and called DMS, who've never let me down. As it happened, 18004Memory's price on the 256MB card of $44 + $17 for overnight comes out exactly the same as DMS's price of $51 + $10 for overnight = $61. But DMS does ship same day, and their cards actually have their own label with lifetime warranty pasted right on the chips (a nice touch).
The delay was a blessing, actually, as it allowed time for me to realize that I might be better off putting low-profile RAM cards in my Pismo, since I'm planning to do the processor upgrade (to either 900MHz or 1GHz, depending on how long I can stand to wait), and seems to me the 1.15" low-profile cards would allow a little more air circulation round the CPU daughtercard, good to minimize heat, which apparently is an issue with these upgrades.
Since anyone who wants to put 1GB of RAM in their Pismo is likely also to be considering the processor upgrade, my revised advice would be to forget about this chimerical "bargain." And go to a dealer who delivers; I've been buying from DMS since the mid-90s with consistently excellent results, while this encounter only bears out my previous experience with 18004Memory.

If you've been thinking about maxing the RAM in your PB G3 (Pismo) or G4 (early Titanium), you might be interested to know that Coast to Coast Memory (aka 18004Memory) is clearing out their stock of 2" PC133 512MB cards, @ $75 ea. Note that this card is the older 2" type, which fits in the top slot ONLY in the WallStreet and Lombard PBs (not sure if it would work in either of these, whose max RAM is 512 in any case), though in both slots in the Pismo. Not certain of compatibility with Titanium PBs (don't have one handy), though I think it will work.
I don't deal with this supplier often; though their product is reputed to be good (and has been in my few experiences), they've always seemed a little shoddy, with low prices negated by high shipping charges, a messy web site, etc. But this is a geniune bargain. I found it thru DealRAM: <http://dealram.com/prices/14/512MB.html>
You can't find this price by going directly to their website <http://www.18004memory.com>, which as I said is rather a mess. I found the same to be true with another card I was looking for; RAMSeeker <http://ramseeker.com> found me a much better price at 18004Memory than I could find by using the search on their own site.
