Hi Tivo,

I got an 80 gig Lacie Firewire hard drive after the hard drive on my iMac
started to fail and it's been fantastic. It was a bit expensive but Lacie
has a good name and it was well worth the extra money over some less known
brands. I have never had a problem with it.

In fact, I am seriously considering selling it because I want to get a
bigger one - once I get my new Powerbook, I will be handling much larger
files and the 80 will probably not be big enough.

I would suggest definitely going for Lacie. Check the prices carefully -
the 160 gig Lacie is actually only $50.00 more than the 80 gig.

Good luck,

Kayla
