Many pleas, even just for an update of >the maps, have yielded negative results. I've got a serial GPS (a tiny Etak/SkyMap NMEA compliant unit) with which I use the Keyspan PDA adapter "USA-19QW" on my Pismo with SA6 under OS 9.2 (whew! :-) and that's worked fine for me. The only 'mod' was to hack the adapter and GPS cable to supply the required 5v to the GPS, from the USB bus power line.
I also have Panther installed but haven't yet gotten SA6 to work under Classic as SA6 can't see any serial ports even with the latest Keyspan driver. Also, I'd like to try something like SA2004 under VPC but just haven't tried it yet so can't say how well that'd work.
