And I'm sure this problem has been discussed before, but I have heard often
that any more than 256 megs of RAM in a Lombard causes problems with OS X.
Should this still be a concern, or has it been fixed by 10.3.2?
This depends on the brand of RAM as well, since the MacOS X installer is the source of most of the RAM woes. Some brands can't be in the machine during the install when you have more than 384MB of RAM. As I have said before in e-mails, I prefer using OWC RAM because of the lifetime warranty, and will replace any RAM that is considered bad by an Apple machine for free as long as you own the RAM you buy from them.
