I don't have a Pismo or a Mini iPod so I can't say for sure, but it seems to
me that most USB 2 hardware is USB 1.1 compatible, although it's much slower
running on USB 1.1. I don't know if the iPod or the Software would insist on
USB 2.0 though. I wouldn't be surprised considering the mandatory built in
USB for Panther.
