Relentless complainant Robin Ash mentioned this tired old Apple-myth: >Remember the PB5300 battery fire problems?
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! This was _NOT_ an issue with a production Macintosh, so _PLEASE_ stop using it as an example of Apple's lack of care for its customers. FYI, Apple's testing of pre-production units equipped with (the then new-tech) LiIon batteries revealed the possibility for said batteries to overheat and catch fire while being charged. _NO_ PB5300 LiIon batteries were shipped to customers, proving Apple's QA process at the time worked just fine. So _PLEASE_ just stop-stop-stop using this example!!!
