Matthew,

I thought that the main differences between 9.1 & 9.2 an above were just improvements to allow it to run in classic mode with X, but not real improvements if you are working under Mac OS 9. If I'm wrong, could someone let me know?

Matthew,

I too had problems going from 9.1 to 9.2.1 on my Wallstreet (266 w/512 RAM 12G HD) as well as my dual G4 450. My goal was 9.2.2 on both machines, but I couldn't get past 9.2.1.

Try this:
Install 9.1 first. Install the 9.2.1 update and restart with the shift key held down (extensions off). Install the 9.2.2 update and restart. This worked for me.
You may have to copy the 9.2.2 update to your HD before you do the 9.2.1 install/restart with extensions off. Then run the 9.2.2 update from the HD (I think the CD-ROM extension is off at this point).

I'm running 9.2.2 and 10.2.8 on the Wallstreet and 9.2.2 and 10.3 on the dual G4 with no problems.

HTH,
Shawn

I keep getting system errors after I install the OS 9.2.1 upgrade from OS 9.1. The Wallstreet has been a little weird lately - it might not be an OS issue.......

Anyone know?
