This same problem cropped up with my Wallstreet. In the beginning, it was only one or two forced restarts, then it was fine. By the time I ripped all my hair out in frustration, it was taking up to 30 (yes, 30) forced restarts. I went through the usual suspects; ram, processor board, re-install system, etc. The culprit was the PMU unit, located under the left palm rest. Since it required a complete disassembly of the computer, I opted to purchase a new one, but there are several companies that replace this for a flat repair charge plus part costs.
