Hi Listers- I'm new to this list because I just received my purchase of a used (and my first) G4/800 MHz Titanium 15" power book. The seller didn't send me the manual, but I was able to download the Acrobat file from Apple. I guess that my question is so basic that the manual doesn't answer it. I put the power cord and the "adapter" cords together to charge the battery. My question is: For what purpose is the adapter cord used by itself, without the line cord? and, can the battery be charged without the line cord? Seems like it should and that the line cord is just more length? I know this is on the side of stupid, but I would like to know why the two are supplied instead of one. Thanks in advance.
