Laurent:

I have the same problem on my Pismo. So how difficult is it to get to the AC/Sound board and resolder the connection? Tips, cautions, warnings? Can I get to the board thru the keyboard or would I have to crack open the Pismo case? Is that hard to do?
Tricky? Easy? Thanks.

I love my PowerBook, but recently I've been having problems with the
headphone jack. The male end of the cord doesn't seem to make a full,
snug connection. If I press on it, sometimes I'll get full sound.
Otherwise it goes in and out.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Preferably cheap or free, since I'm not working
right now.

Probably a loose solder on the AC/Sound board. It will probably get worse
until you fix it.
