I have also been following this thread. since it has now been brought back up, this is how I 'believe' it goes:
You pay for a *spot in a pyramid type scheme. You get access to what they call ebooks. You try to get as many people as possible to go to the site and also buy into the pyramid type scheme. That is why there are so many of them on eBay. People have bought into them, then trying to get others to buy into the pyramid also.


The reason I know this is, a friend (now roommate) got suckered into one. It was for a Powerbook!! He is a little eccentric, and really wanted a powerbook. Check it out at electronicsmatrix.com I think. http://www.electronicsmatrix.com/content/templates/tracks.asp? articleid=63&zoneid=8
