Greetings
I am having a problem with a much loved stock 400 Pismo, running Panther,
that hopefully someone can offer some advice.
The unit will not turn on, no lights, no beeps nothing, DEAD.
I reseat the CPU, it will start up, I can shut it down and restart it,
it will go into sleep mode and wake up,
it runs just like it should EXCEPT if I turn it off and
allow it to sit for maybe 10-15 minutes it will not startup, reseat the CPU
and
once again we are back in business, it charges the battery, no OS lock ups,
when it
runs, it works with no problems.
I am thinking CPU but could a bad CMOS battery cause the problem, the
battery measures
correctly, there are no time date issues but disconnecting the CMOS is one
of the steps in reseating the CPU.
Thanks for any advice

                                                Steve
