Native is almost always best, but let's slow down here. What games are we talking about? Agreed, graphic intensive games (e.g. Quake, UT, etc) will likely be painful in the extreme. I run Age of Empires II and Sid Meier's Gettysburg (my favourite), however, without problem (actually, SMG stutters a bit under OS X; OS 9 (not Classic) is fine). Why Win versions? I got a great deal on AE2 (Win), and SMG isn't available on the Mac :-( Having said that, I've had install issues where I'll be told that the cd isn't readable. Turns out there are some copy protection schemes that emulation isn't capable of handling.
