The closest take-apart instructions with pictures I

I followed them to the end, i.e. so no mention of the
cold cathode or power supply. What should the voltage
be (seeing as how the power is off; I am an amateur)?

My main concern is the cables so that if I get a
replacement screen, it will work 'out of the box'. So
far, I 'see' no damage with regards to cables. And
probably the screen is not expensive compared to the
cold cathode lamp and/or lamp power supply?
